Placement Programme for Trainee Counsellors
For individuals pursuing a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling or above, our Trainee Counsellor Placement Programme is an excellent opportunity to further your own growth while contributing to our social impact.

In order to help trainees fulfil the course requirements for clinical hours, our trainee programme is a voluntary arrangement between the Trainee Counsellor and The Yakira Centre.
Prior to beginning client work, all placement counsellors must complete required induction and administration training. You will also have access to additional optional training opportunities.

Clinical Hours
​
Work towards the clinical hours required for your course or accreditation.
4 Clients at any one time (4 hours Per week)
Structured Placement
Your placement will last 12 months with the option to continue for longer
Supervision
You will be provided 2 hours of supervision a month in small groups of 4.
